Description

(Size: 500g)

Art Spectrum® Calcite is a fine dense white Chalk (Calcium Carbonate) used as a filler for water-based paints to increase opacity and to extend oil colours. Calcite has a lower oil absorbency rate than Whiting. It will provide extra tooth when used in the making of traditional grounds for oil painting. Can be used to make traditional oil gesso by mixing with rabbit skin glue.
