Winsor & Newton Oil Medium Liquin Original

I've been using this formula for years, and have tried other mediums for oil painting, with disappointing results. I'll always use Liquin Original.

Liquin is good for wetting oil paint and extending it and good for transparent glazing. It dries the oil color faster than without it. Ok to varnish paintings after 6 months depending on how thick the layers of paint are. I love Liquin.

Liquin original is like liquid gold!
It not only helps oil paint to flow onto the canvas smoothly but helps the paint to dry relatively quickly and mixed with transparent oil paint is the perfect medium for glazing. I have never experienced any cracking with this medium. The versatility makes liquin original an essential ingredient in my studio.

this stuff is brilliant, way better than other liquid mediums used with oil paints. Great for mixing colours and means a little paint goes a long way without losing opacity. Produces such a smooth and blended effect! Definitely recommend
