Thanks for speedy delivery of my Claybord order. I also use Scratchbord by Ampersand but Claybord allows something not possible on Scratchbord. Washes and graded tones are possibke. Scratching the darker tones on Ckaybord reveals white highlights. I love the idea of working on boards. Something much more permanent about that compared to paper. The Claybord painting (I use inks) then can be spayed with varnish which makes a durable finish. With smaller pieces no need for mucking about with glass and frames. The Claybord painting can be easily placed on a desk, shelf or bedside table. I store my Claybord pieces in a box back to back. Customers flip through the box to make a selection.
Not really well explained when I called the store to ask a few questions about my order. Person didn’t know what cradle means.
