I bought this paint box because it has 33 wells and 5 big mixing spaces. I plan to squeeze my W & N Cotman tubes of watercolour into the wells and let them dry so I can use them like pans. Much more economical as I can just re-wet for the next session and no paint goes to waste. Good size for desk use, but, in my view, a bit big for travel. I have a smaller set of 12 pans for travel. I took advantage of great prices during Christmas sales and was amazed how fast my purchases arrived. I'll be back to buy more items.
