Canson colorline papers are universal and economic, they adapt well to heavy work, and being double sided, they are also suitable for sketching and drawing. The smooth side is ideal for felt and marker pens whilst the lightly grained side is good for pencil, charcoal and pastels. This even grain and texture add to the sensation of depth and make it resistant to rubbing out and scratching. Perfect for posters, signs, collages and cards, and all school and craft projects.
This is a great surface for mixed media, wet and dry. I demonstrate at workshops using this and purchase it for the classes.
I used the Canson Colourline to handprint linocut designs. The paper is quite heavy for hand printing but the results were much better than I had expected. The paper colour is vibrant and holds the ink well.
